Duh

Stupid thing on my head all day is a joke Denis made while Sisters of Mercy played on our MP3 server last night. The song This Corrosion is recursive, to wit:

I got the check today. Yaaay. Now I have to find my checkbook. The sad thing is, paying the two rents in full, plus some partial payment on my car and credit card, sops it all up nicely. Between other incoming freelance payments and my first (and maybe last) unemployment check, though, I'll be receiving a matching amount at some point soon. At least I can go back to using my credit card worry-free until then.

Grunt. What a broke loser I sound like. Oh well. We'll see, we'll see what happens this week.
