Gah... when did Mike Doonesbury's daughter grow breasts? I feel old

It's interesting to see another comic with aging characters, though; I suppose I was dimly aware that this was the case, but since many of the characters are adults without families, it's not so obvious. I used to like For Better Or For Worse for this reason, back when it was readable, and not a daily dose of cloying sentimentality. (Or maybe it always was so, and at some point I irrevocably became just slightly too cynical for it; sigh.) At least Doonesbury is sometimes funny. (It's only funny when it's subtle, and it's often non-subtle. Non-subtle political jokes amount to little more than bashing, to me, and non-subtle people like to read bashing, and the world is filled with the non-subtle, and this is why both the "Boondocks" and the "Mallard Fillmore" guys still have jobs, I guess.)

Deadline to self: publish (for any reasonable, 21st-century definition of "publish") at least 30 regularly paced episodes of a new comic before 2010. That seems rather conservative, Mr. Mac. Well, it's realistic, and will either prove the launching point of something new, or not.
