No debate writeup from me yet. An hour before, I was bitten by the urge to play new video games, so I ran to Micro Center with nothing in mind and ended up getting Hot Shots Golf Fore! for PS2 and Shadows of Unrentide (a Neverwinter Nights expansion) for my Mac. So I was golfing while the debates happened, but forrtunately my faithful TiVo caught it anyway. I watched the first half hour or so and said ew, because it was really ugly; both sides seemed to be ignoring the moderator's questions and just wailing on each other. Worse, they were working from two entirely different and quite conflicting factbooks, making for a game of Dick-said-John-said. Not fun.

A friend who missed it entirely asked to visit tonight in order to watch (correctly assuming that I'd be recording it), so I'll no doubt see it in its entirely then. Meantime, I've only started to talk to other friends and read my blogspread about it; I get the impression that it gets better after the first 30 minutes?

The golf game, by the way, is great; an interactive golf cartoon, basically. There is a Sean Connery caddie. Who likes to sing show tunes. There are other caddies, but I'm not sure why you'd want to use them. And the unlocks... so, so many things to unlock. I admit that I'm a sucker for unlocks in modern video games; it's a great scam. Early this morning I unlocked a new golfer, a bulldog who talks like Ringo. I really need to put this down for a while.
