A friend who missed it entirely asked to visit tonight in order to watch (correctly assuming that I'd be recording it), so I'll no doubt see it in its entirely then. Meantime, I've only started to talk to other friends and read my blogspread about it; I get the impression that it gets better after the first 30 minutes?
The golf game, by the way, is great; an interactive golf cartoon, basically. There is a Sean Connery caddie. Who likes to sing show tunes. There are other caddies, but I'm not sure why you'd want to use them. And the unlocks... so, so many things to unlock. I admit that I'm a sucker for unlocks in modern video games; it's a great scam. Early this morning I unlocked a new golfer, a bulldog who talks like Ringo. I really need to put this down for a while.

Date: 2004-10-06 07:15 am (UTC)Edwards won all the charm points.
Cheney won all the gravitas points.
As for content, they both screwed up. Cheney lied alot (did you know the pro-gay marriage forces in Massachusetts want to amend the constitution?) and Edwards rebutted very badly.
In the end, the jadelennox assessment is that neither screwed up or shone well enough to change the overall CW.
