Found that the Somerville Building #19 is closed for good, which makes me sad. Even though it was kind of sketchy and smelly (literally) it was still Building #19, one of the cornerstones of my youth here in MA (for the 'rents have always shopped frugal, even back when they was rich-ish). (And eh, we went to a different Building #19 back then, but I still liked the idea that I had one nearby my current home.) So, with heavy heart, herded myself 'mongst the shuffling sweatsuited families into the K-Mart next door, and there found area rugs on sale: score. So now I'm wigglin my toes on my new bedroom rug, v. pleased with self. Or rather comfortable in the knowledge that a rug lay beneath the new chair mat I also picked up. No more grinding up the hardwood underneath my creaky chair's cruel casters. (Not that it reverses the probable security deposit-nixing damage I've wrought already; oh well.)

Cliff Johnson bumped the Fool clock ahead by a month after I noted that it had less than a month to go, and now I see he's taken it down entirely. A little bit of sniffing around reveals that he's pushed it forward to next July, nearly two years after the first release date. Frowny.
I will note in semi-interest that it's become suddenly apparent to me that the game will be done entirely in Flash. But for now, I will once again put it out of my mind for another year.
I found my camera! It was in an opaque Gap shopping bag, which was under a pile of other crap thrown in the corner of my room. All unearthed while clearing and cleaning to make space for the new rug. And somehow, the battery is still charged, after several months of unuse. I can have nice things after all.
