Set cellphone to start screaming at 7:30, wake up at 9:10 with alarm miraculously shut off. Have no memory of doing so, but it seems the most likely thing.

Going to have to go back to setting up two or three or more alarm clocks, I suppose. One in each room sounds good.

This seems great. I just might give it a try.

My dream clock (if you will) is one where you have to answer a puzzle of some sort in order for it to stop making noise. It would also have to have a built-in UPS of some sort, which is why setting up my computer to do this wouldn't work; yanking plug from wall is a simple enough action to not disturb my sonambulation.

My cellphone is the closest I've come to this, since you must unlock the keypad before you can shut off the alarm, and this takes some mental coordination. But it seems that I've gotten good enough at it to do it in my sleep, literally.

I have something like that: it makes annoying noises at random intervals after being hushed, and to make it stop I have to leave the room and accomplish the moderately complex task of distributing a number of small pebbles into three ceramic receptacles.

But I don't know if your landlord allows you to have cats.
