progWell, I've cleaned my apartment to a truly uncharacteristic degree, and no sign of the missing iPod or power brick. I am ready to chalk it up to experience.
I am more disappointed in not having the foggiest how I lost them than in the loss itself. It's so unaccountable that I keep coming back to thievery, blaming the outside world, but no possible scenario there hashes out. Who knows.. It's all good. I just ate a delicious quesadilla in my suddenly clean apartment.
