[Volity status: things are most definitely on-target for a semi-public announcement and intro coming with the new year. Am just starting to try roping talented locals into the vortex; having a power-brunch with a Java geek tomorrow, and pinging local entrepreneurs about things. Good stuff.]
Now I feel like buying some Game Boy games, after rediscovering this little toy, and discovering how fun it is to play on the T (especially Mario Kart, especially if you're sitting on a sideways seat), and its usefulness for taking instant, minutes-long breaks between work sessions. Ah yes.
But, my parents want to have a big celebration, too, for them as much as me. True fact: when they were considering the fate of fetal proto-jmac, an item in the con-column was the fact they were both over 40, which, according to my mom today, seemed really wicked old at the time, and they certainly couldn't even conceive of being 70-something when this kid turned 30. But, lo: here we all are.
We'll figure something out later.
