OK, Mom, you win. I was wrong. I thought I knew everything about off-street parking because of my experience on Chestnut Street two winters ago. In forming this conclusion I did not consider that that winter was freakishly warm, and hardly snowed. So now, for the second night in a row, I have to park a 20-minute walk away from my house, on a street which, due to its obscurity, usually has parking available even in the worst road conditions.
(Feel free to stop laughing anytime,
xymotik.)
I guess what I oughtta do it lookit a map and see if there are any similarly hard-to-reach streets nearby. I knew about this one only by its virtue of being near
cthulhia's house.
I really hope it won't be like this through March, but alas, I have no reason not to think so.
Man.
(At least I don't, in fact, seem to have the flu.)

Date: 2003-12-13 11:48 am (UTC)The low temp over the past two weeks or so was 40 degrees, at night. The high was around the low 60s (the thermometer gets the morning sun, so the maximum isn't as accurate). That's what, April in Maine/March in Boston? And I now have a <100 ft. walk to my car.
