It's not just a part of me. I mean, it's not like this pathetic man's capture will dissuade the terrorists, so it'll help GWB, without helping the soldiers in Iraq.
I'm not so sure that's an easily true statement, about the terrorists (at least the ones dogging the current U.S. efforts in Iraq), from all I've been reading. But, time will tell.
The only thing I can confidently say is: how complex. I'm feeling torn again like I did during the buildup to the war, well before I completely lost confidence in the president. There's a kind of cozy familiarity to it, but, sigh.
