Ha ha ha brilliant reinvention of Penelope Pitsop yay (claps hands). I'm glad that Cartoon Network is doing things with its collection of crappy Hanna Barbera characters besides ironicizing them w/ Harvey Birdman et al.

It was OK, but it had a touch of the smarmyness (for lack of a better word) that I associate with those recently animated shows like Batman, Superman, and the Teen Titans, Go! series that I really, really can't stand. F***ing unctuous stuff... where the premise is already... oh, I digress. I'm going on a bit. :)

Sure, she's cool in a Daisy Duck meets Aeon Flux sort of way, but my fave from Wacky Races was the Creepy Coupe. That was the best car but usually just ended up being a comic foil. C'est not fair.

personally, i liked the ant hill mob, because i have a soft spot in my heart for wee mafiosos.

and then there was the buzzwagon with the lumberjack and his beaver pal. i didn't really like them, i just wanted to type the word "beaver."
