I like how Kerry is invoking OBL a lot in his speeches now... just daring the GWBians to respond in kind. They won't; they can't. They wish the topic would just go away. They really wish they hadn't spent so much time talking about OBL right after 9/11, had started beating the Saddam drum that much sooner. It would have made things so much simpler today.

In case anyone is still worried about it, this is rather proof-positive, to me, that nobody's gonna pull the dude out of their hat in October.

I disagree. If they have him, waiting til the end of October would likely be the best thing to reveal him. Less time for any counteroffensive, methinks.

Aside, I heard GWB the other days saying "We will accomplish this mission!"

Um, then what was that humungous banner on the aircraft carrier saying when you flew a plane onto the deck? Were you referring to a different mission? I thought the mission was already accomplished....

No... if they did have him, they would unveil him then... but I'm saying they don't, and the fact that they're working very hard to keep him out of the conversation is sufficient evidence of this, for me.

ah, and it's sufficient evidence to me that they DO have him. they want to keep others from talking about him, so they can control the way he is introduced back into the national consciousness, then *poof* spring him on us.
