I just received my first ever anti-American insult!

American, [hand slap] don't remove if you can't comprehend.

On my Wikipedia talk page, half a day after I killed some dork's inapprorpriate addition to an article on the Fermi Paradox (asserting that anyone who believes its underlying principle is an idiot). I just now re-killed the same addition. Ho ho. Oh well.

I have never actually seen the word American itself used as a synonym for "moron" or "idiot". It's almost... charmingly small-sighted.

I actually think it was a little more fine-tuned to the American stereotype than that... something more like "brash know-it-all". But the other guy was still just an idiot. ;)
