manual drip coffeemaker + whole-bean dark-roast Diesel Fuel = satisfied Homer Simpson noise

Current math: (Two Tsp of beans & two cups of Brita'd water) for every mugful. All the beans are ground for exactly 15 seconds in my regular old electric grinder.

Now I need to buy a portable thermos thingy so I can make a ton of this yummy stuff and take it to work with me, and then maybe not give $5 to Starbucks every damn day.

May I recommend a thermos from Eddie Bauer's Outlet in Downtown Crossing. Mine holds about 12oz (maybe 16) and keeps liquids piping hot for quite some time. It also has a button that lets you sip from the thermos, but because the liquid stays very hot, I find it better for my tongue to pour it into a cup to drink.
