Why I hate having a car

As soon as I leave my bedroom housemate will appear and ask if I can give him a ride to Boston so he can rescue his car from the towie place.

Indeed, this is how I have fended off earlier reuqests for spurious rides.

I think I am kind of annoyed because, as you say, this is an area with lots of getting-around opportunities. If this were, say, Waterville ME, I'd feel like a heel to turn him down, but here? Foo.

Anyway, soon after I made this post, I heard him bang out the front door for the day. If luck is with me, he'll pick his truck up himself after work.
