I am really quite curious exactly how Bush is planning on "touring" the disaster area. Wouldn't his safety in doing so be akin to touring the streets of Baghdad, at this point?

Either this is going to be a pathetic token gesture, or he's going to get himself killed.

Yeah, they're pretty peeved down there. Check out this MP3 of Mayor Nagin giving a piece of his mind. He's talking in a way that under most circumstances would get him crucified, but I don't think anyone can blame him for this. I heard a brief excerpt from this on NPR yesterday morning and cheered his honesty. Thanks to continuoboy for posting a link to the full interview.
