Quick casting call

I need one(1) person for a short role in the Gameshelf I'm putting together now. It involves being a talking head for only a few moments, and acting like either a salty sea captain (esp. if I can find the right hat) or a reference librarian. No studio trip necessary; I can come to you. (Or you can come to me, or whatever.) I'd like to shoot it this weekend sometime.

I would prefer a female for this role, but feel free to step up even if you ain't one. However, I'd rather not use any of the four people who are already on this episode.

Depends; I *am* a reference librarian. Do you want me to act like me, or like a sterotyped parody of a librarian? *g*

I would say either a stereotyped specs-on-chain parody OR a ramped-up caricature of a real one, if that's possible? I welcome your ideas. I'm going for teh funnay here.

The role involves giving the correct pronunciation and definition of two different words.

I'm not willing to help parody my profession, no. :P But if you can't find anybody else, I would consider being a sea captain. Maybe.

I think you are thinking of a harsher meaning of "parody" than I. I'll fill you in more after tonight's craziness is done.

Sea captain could work too... there's always [livejournal.com profile] rikchik's newspaper-hat suggestion.

Do you need a nutritional anthropologist for the next episode?

I do now.
