Does it cost to download from there? Which version is it, the long one or the short one?

All podcasts are free. When you subscribe to them they show up in your iTunes "Podcasts" directory, and then every time you hit the "Refresh" button while looking at them, iTunes will check for new shows and download any that it finds.
