Gameshelf gears turning

Joe the Director has agreed to direct some more, though I haven't connected with the legacy kamera krew yet. I bumped into one at the stah mahket only a month or two ago so I know they're still around. You cannot hide.
I have grabbed the studio for a couple of future evenings, with this schedule in mind:
Wednesday, Sept. 27:
6:00: crew call
6:30: talent call (i.e. when you should show up, if you're playing)
7:00: Werewolf
9:00: Opening skit
9:45: strike
10:00: beer
Wednesday, Oct. 4:
6:00: crew call
6:30: talent call
6:45: Citadels [PDF link]
8:15: Basari
9:45: strike
10:00: beer
I kind of want to do the board games first, but am starting off with the Werewolf shoot anyway because its more relaxed schedule will be a better re-introduction to the project for me and the crew after some 10 months off. The opening skit will be a scripted bit of fluff involving some of the Werewolf players, and will ultimately serve as the episode's opening kicker. It will be simple and punchy and easy to film with little preparation, so no worries.
I'd prefer that the folks playing the board games have played them at least once. I'll schedule an intro/refresher game-play session at Volity HQ later if needed, so don't not volunteer if you haven't played them before. They're both fairly lightweight games that you can pick up quickly. (This isn't necessary for Werewolf, everything about which can be taught to a newbie in literally a couple of minutes.)
If you'd like to be a player in one or both shoots, let me know which evenings you can make. Feel free to pass this invitation along to people who don't read this blog; I'll be using email, too, when I get around to it.
Prop help needed: Does anyone have anything I could use as a severed arm? Bonus points if it has (or if we can modify it to have) a bloody end.

Date: 2006-09-20 04:09 am (UTC)Hm.. I was thinking I'd leave it in the mailbox for you, but that might freak the mail carrier. If it's for a week from Wednesday, (as opposed to tomorrow), I'm sure we can figure something out.
