Mary, snapping attention around from other conversation: "Hold on, did you just say 'Nookie is a game mechanic'?"
"Yes, I did."
"OK."

At some other point I had opportunity to say "Remove the victory from your mouth!" prompting Jenny to note that it sounded like a bad translation, and suddenly it was the funniest thing ever, to me.

'Nookie is a game mechanic'. I gotta start playing the right games, I guess. You just don't get that with Solitaire.

FWIW, the context was a conversation about the Steve Jackson card game "Chez Geek". Where there is, in fact, a Noisy Nookie rule.
