[Sadly, no Google video at the moment, as their uploader seems to be broken. And the Internet Archive's uploader is Windows-only, and I refuse to chop the show into YouTube-sized chunks. I'll wait until something gets fixed and then post the embedded video once it's available. If you happen to know of alternatives to these in the meantime, let me know.]
Welcome to the second season of The Gameshelf! In this episode, Joe, jmac, and their friends look at two games about hidden roles: the card game Citadels, and the party game Werewolf.

Date: 2007-03-06 08:40 pm (UTC)When Ruth said "I'm the seer, and Justin is the wolf!" it was a perfect opportunity for Justin to shoot back "No, I'm the seer and Ruth is the wolf!" He didn't, which left the players with no real choice but to kill him (as you can hear someone saying.) A lot of Werewolf games come down to exactly that kind of standoff.
I shall also note that _Delightful Wallpaper_ won a small handful of XYZZY Awards this past weekend. http://xyzzynews.com/2006winners.html
