Ask me about ADSP.NET

Following is a letter from Jason Lavoie, sysadmin and former cohort from my MINT days.
So, yeah. If I know you, and you're not a luser (which you probably aren't), you're invited. This really is a great service, which hasn't let me down, either. Please contact me ASAP if you're interested.
For those that don't know, this is a machine that a bunch of us ex-mint'ers put together and colocated at an ISP in DC. It isn't connected with any of our employers, isn't a favor from any person, and is a good (very) reliable site for us to host (primary or redundant) personal or corporate mail, dns, shell, etc. It is good to have a reliable home for services in case your home/office DSL/cable/etc. goes on the fritz, or is just unreachable to part of the net, or if you have to move. There's a good bunch of networking and unix geeks on the
system, so its reliability (uptime of 337 days) is no surprise.
The colocation service has been beyond my expectations, too. After some shopping around, we decided on superb.net, a savvy colo center in DC with 6 DS3s to different providers. The connectivity (bandwidth and latency) is so good there, that I've often used the system for network performance testing.
The ten founding members have used for the past year, and we're taking the opportunity for renewal to offer this service to others here and/or their close friends. Our (informal) policy allows membership withunanimous approval and support from at least member who will vouch.
We will split the hosting costs evenly among all members. Currently, that will be about $100 per year, quite a bargain for the service offered. The more members we have, the lower the price will be.
