Howdy mostly-locals,

We've got a growing pile of stuff to give away in our hallway. I plan on making a post to the trash-pickers of [livejournal.com profile] davis_square on Monday, when we'll drag it out onto the curb. But you get first pick, because we love you. If either [livejournal.com profile] classicaljunkie or I knows you, and you wish to paw through the stuff, please comment (or contact one of us directly) to arrange a visit this weekend or Monday.

First, there are books. Boxes of em. Lots of romance, fantasy, and SF paperbacks. (We are not abandoning our genres; we are just culling our collections, which otherwise threaten to sink the house in their combined weight, like that legend about your college library.) Also some nonfiction, RPG books that eBay didn't want, and some random computer / programming books.

There are also the following items. They are all in perfectly good condition, either wholly unused (if so marked) or lovingly used at one of our two prior apartments. Comment / contact if you have any questions about them.

Backpack
LED sign, allegedly programmable, with remote
Microwave oven
Large footlocker
Hairdryer
Mens PJs (not used, in wrapper)
Long door-hangy mirror

Butter bell storage thing

Small stuffed cheetah toy
French press coffee maker
Drip coffee maker
Kettle
Rain poncho (not used, in wrapper)

Shower curtain (not used, in wrapper)
White Ikea window curtain (not used, in wrapper)
Big Wacom tablet (ADB connector)
Tote bag

How does the door-hangy mirror attach to the door?

It's got two large square hooks that are meant to go over the top of the door.

Could I pick them up at the party next weekend or do you want them gone before then?

I just programmed my LED sign and it's the same as yours, so, it should all be good. The software is out there.

I never realized you put it all together?

Still, I literally haven't touched it in years. It hung off and blank in my old bedroom for the whole time I lived there. If someone can find an actual use for it, they're welcome to have it.

I may take it off your hands because, well, I like LED signs.

Also, there is talk of a Andy/You/Me/? game demo?

You're giving away your Wacom? I'd be interested if so.

It's an enormous pad that has ADB (Apple-proprietary, pre-USB) connectors. You are welcome to take it, but finding ADB-USB adapters is a task left to the taker.

I'm interested in the LCD sign, and checking out the books. I'm free later tomorrow afternoon and evening.

BAIT AND SWITCH

Orps, I meant an LED sign, not an LCD sign. It's a 80 x 7 matrix of red/green/yellow LED lights. Totally yours if you still want it, and now I have to reason to figure out which box the remote is in. :)

Send me your current contact info (jmac@jmac.org) and I'll pencil you in.
