No tech note for this

After two hours or so of use, the iPod's belt clip has just flown apart, the plastic part of its hinge snapped in two places. Hmm. I doubt I'd be able to talk anyone out of a new one in this case.

It's too bad, but I am hesiatnt to buy another, for obvious reasons. I wonder if third parties make any sturdier clips.
