Excellent (and funny) demo video for Birdhouse

Gruber's right; this demo video for the new iPhone Twitter-posting app Birdhouse is a model of its class, and is required viewing for everyone who might ever need to make a demo video of anything. Even if they hate Twitter.

(Yes, I am likely to drop the $4 on this, since I have been Twittering a lot lately, and feeling like I'm just starting to get the hang of making tweets more clever than the mm-bacon-time-to-wash-my-socks category. Something like this might be useful.)

Yes, the virtual 'star' was nice - very funny. No idea who Merlin Mann was before I just looked him up, but just the idea that anyone in the world favorite-ing someone's app and having such a reaction - great. Loved it.

I have known of Mann for a while through his dalliance as a Boing Boing pal and his agitating for GTD, but I have more recently discovered that he is also one of the funniest writers on Twitter. (Yes, like being one of the driest people in the peat bog, i know. Still.)
