Wow.. Some friends and I had attempted to play Diplomacy a few times. I don't think we ever got farther than 1904 either, even when we resorted to doing 'email' versions of the game. Still, it's one of the more interesting games I've ever played.

I enjoyed watching the episode, though I admit I have little interest in playing Diplomacy. (Bonus amusement for Austria-Hungary's hat.)

I enjoyed the episode too. Great editing job. Also, the hat idea for identifying players was brilliant--worked very well.

Good, ambitious work! The hats were an excellent idea, and the use of background footage was really good.
