The [livejournal.com profile] planet_volity feed actually works now, thanks to [livejournal.com profile] daerr's machinations. Hmm, it probably makes no sense to subscribe to both it and [livejournal.com profile] volity_devel, since every post made to that mailing list shows up on Planet. (Also, that latter RSS feed is dumb, stripping out quoted text and cutting off messages after a K or so. So no tears shed here.)

Also I just made an LJ feed for [livejournal.com profile] planet_volity, which gets stuff from Planet Volity. (Which usually seems to be about a day behind. Is this normal?)

[livejournal.com profile] daerr threw together Planet Volity. Check it out. Announcement here. I don't pay more than peripheral attention to trends like the recent upsprounting of Planet Foo websites and why they're cool, so I'm glad D's on the job.

I might start up Volity tech-talk meetings again. The VV people have been having business meetings online, which have been working out pretty well, but we spend half of them talking about tech. I am conscious about the absence of any of the non-biz Volity hackers every time this happens.

Since the core group is all hardcore about it now, it may last more than two weeks this time. Hmm, well. The business meetings are Monday nights, and I'm amused by the thought that we could technically have biz and tech meetings going on in two separate chatrooms... it's just a bad idea.

Wednesday nights, maybe?

I don't want to discourage tech talk during the business meetings -- it's inevitable. But I don't want to leave out any of the dot-org hackers from realtime Volity discussion.
