It strikes me that I like tags so much that i want to tag every file on my computers, and then just stop keeping them in separate directories. When I want to find files having to do with some thingy, I'd just browse that tag. And I'd have a separate tag browser application that also makes tag assignment easy.

Hmm. Hmm.

"Same with email" I almost say, except that I'm pretty sure I'd never go through the trouble to tag incoming mail. (There's a reason I have about 500 unread emails.) But now that I think of that more... I can see how that can be made viable, in a way.

Are you a user of the gmail, Mr. R? I have looking for an excuse to chuck jmac.org as my mailserver and just go gmail, I think.

As I'm sure you've noticed, I shot you an invite last night. I use it occasionally - I still have a need for a mailer that uses vi. But gmail is where all my receipts, etc. go.
