TV on Bizarro World

I only now just figured out that the reason my Tivo has been mis-recording things for more than two weeks (I recorded two hours of The Weather Channel instead of the movie you recommended, modpixie) hasn't been the Tivo's fault at all... it's my channel lineup that's gone bonkers!! A little while ago I had SpikeTV where I should have had PBS, and now I have MSNBC in the same spot?! And The Daily Show has moved to the Fox News Channel, apparently.

The problem was strange and novel enough to move the RCN tech support person to not treat me like an idiot there solely to waste her time. So a technician is due to visit Thursday noonish.

I totally googled "aces to me" and all I got was peoples' Poker stories.

It sounds like it's probably a good thing, but I could also see someone in an old movie snap "That's aces to me!" at someone else, meaning, that's of no concern to me. Which I guess wouldn't be a sensible thing to say, here, if you couldn't make it. But anyway.
