I just paid three dollahs even for a eggs & chorizo burrito and a coffee at the new Boloco, and now I am leeching off their wireless. That's a pretty good deal.

The burritos here are kind of anemic compared to the big fat burritos that my neighbor Tacos Lupita makes, but they're tasty. The coffee is tolerable. It's a nice cheap protein boost though, on a morning when I was expecting to laden myself down with a Diesel bagel.

(I'd post this in [livejournal.com profile] davis_square but honestly I'd feel self-conscious about writing more posts about buildings and food there. Not that I don't enjoy the ones that others write. Anyway.)

"More Posts about Buildings and Food" is my favorite Talking Heads album.

And here I was proud of myself only last night for suddenly remembering where your thon-post's reference to "meteorshit" came from.

And when I used the same reference, only *one* person noted it! I would imagine others did so silently.

Hay, are the cramerica eps on hard media or youtube anywhere? I'd love to watch em.

Until I got to the part where you wrote "I'd post this in [livejournal.com profile] davis_square", I thought I was reading a post in [livejournal.com profile] davis_square. And if you enjoy the buildings and food posts that others write there, why wouldn't others enjoy your writings there. I would.

Also, Talking Heads references are always welcome. By me, at least.

I quite like Boloco's wraps. They may not be as large as some others, but they are just the right size for me, and I seem to recall the regular at Anna's is about the same size. I hate the way Blue Shirt pads their out with a ton of rice.

I should check out Tacos Lupitas at some point. I was at Tea Zone, but didn't have time to stop next door. Any idea what their vegetarian situation is?

As of a few years ago, not very good, according to herbivorous then-housemates. I usually get something chickeny so I haven't paid attention if they've expanded their menu in that direction but I bet they haven't.

After I posted that comment, I checked the web and they surprised me with a web site. The menu looks pretty authentic, which I believe means animal bits in everything. There wasn't much that looked like it even MIGHT be veggie. :)

I bailed on the davis_square LJ group after one too many arguments about whether shill posts maybe aren't so bad. (Hint: I hate people who lie to me.) Also, that remodelling permit which is going to ignite the atmosphere and destroy all life on Earth if it's allowed to go through.

I have not yet been to boloco. This weekend, probably.
