Remember when "politically correct" referred to policies that threatened freedom of expression, rather than the vague but hateful forces that tied the president's hands from building the camps immediately?
Rule of thumb: in contemporary usage, "politically correct" actually means "correct." As in, "Well, it wouldn't be politically correct to do X" means that, in fact, only an asshole would even think of doing X.
