I recall seeing articles on arcade games - including pinball machines - in magazines up through the early 1990s, with Andy Eddy's "Video Games & Computer Entertainment" being the most recent (which is to say well over 15 years ago). I haven't really paid much attention to game mags since then, so I can't say for sure if there's any more recent examples.
